Jesus came to set the captives (us) free so that we could experience God’s original intent for mankind. In Isaiah 61, Scripture lays out what Christ did. In other Scriptures, Christ calls His disciples to do the same thing. Isaiah 61 has been a guiding post for me and a point of calling.
